Dec 06, 2011 Mixxx was an application for Windows reviewed last year that let you mix music; it was feature-rich, and probably a a DJ’s dream when it came to free software. The same Mixxx is now available for Mac, and in addition to all the previous features it supported on Windows, it has a better interface. The app is free, which is rare when it comes to Mac apps that support sophisticated features.

Virtual Dj Mac
Mixxx is a free open-source DJ- and mixingprogram for Windows, Max OSX and Linux (source and Ubuntu supported).
Mixxx offers several features such as Auto-DJ, playing songs from iTunes library, using crates to allow quick-access to your favourite songs.
Mixxx also supports MIDI-controllers and Vinyl Control.
Live steam is an optional functionality using an external Shoutcast or Icecast server.
Mixxx is powered by skins, the skins determine the look, and controls of the program.
